This is an amazing value box.  I'm excited to try the ampoule, i've read so much about them, but have yet to try one out.  The perfume smells amazing, and is a great formula (it's a gel, in what looks like a mascara tube.  Perfect to take out with you).  The body lotion smells like passionfruit, and leaves my skin so soft.  The eye cream and moisturiser sound great too, but i don't want to open them just yet (i have others i need to finish off first).

All in all i have enjoyed all the Memeboxes i've bought, they were a great way to discover different brands.  Hopefully the end of international shipping will be short lived.

Memebox Find Your Signature Scent

Morning all!

So, by now you would have heard that Memebox international is no more.  Memebox mumbled some crap about not being able to provide the correct amount of customer service, so have limited their services to USA, China and Korea (and boxes for each country will come from that country).  So this and the other box i have here will be the last 2 i receive, unless they change their minds.

There was a leak in my box, although everything was salvageable.

Bellespiani Boutique Cleanser Rose-$41

This was the sneak peek for the box.  It's a rose scented cleanser, with real rose petals which are supposed to act as a natural exfoliant.  I can't wait to try this out, although i'm waiting until i finish the cleansers i already have opened.

 Yahah Auto Lip Crayon in Pink Holic-$10

OMG i love this!  It is a beautiful pink, goes on so smoothly, and smells yummy (a fruity smell).  It has rose hip oil, avocado oil and macadamia seed oil, so it sounds amazing.

Innoface Aloe Vera Soothing Gel-$18

This is one of the things that leaked, as you can see it's still fairly full.  This is for sunburn (actually, burns of all types) and skin irritations.  It would be perfect kept in the fridge, for that perfect cold treatment.  It smells like aloe vera gel, very green and fresh (and kinda cucumber-y)

Secretkey Glam Romance Perfume Body Lotion-$16

The card says this smells musky, it smells soapy and a bit old lady-ish to me.  But it leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft, so i'm willing to get over the scent (i know there would be people out there who love it, it's just not a favourite of mine). 

X.O.X Kisses Mist-$4

This is in lavender (you got one randomly from 6).  Firstly, it doesn't smell like lavender, secondly, it's almost worn off already after 10 minutes.  Air freshener, maybe?

The value was definitely there with this box, and there are some lovely products in it.  It's just a shame that there won't be any more.

Violet Box January 2015

Morning lovelies!

This is an overdue post (i've been unwell, very dizzy).  My Violet Box has been here for just over a week.  January always poses problems for boxes, most of the time they are late.  I get it, and VB kept us in the loop, plus they rocked up very early Feb, so no complaints.

Mellow Cosmetics Blush-$14-full size

This is pink, i promise!  It's a gorgeous blush, very pigmented (so use a big fluffy brush), goes on sheer and is a lovely warm colour.  I'm really enjoying the items VB is sending out from Mellow, they are cheap but great quality.

Emite Precision eye pencil-$24.95-full size

New brand!  This is a great waterline colour, doesn't tug at all, and goes on smoothly, plus packs a lot of punch.  Hopefully we get to try something else from the brand in the coming months.

Lonvitalite gold eye mask-$25.95-sample size

LHI was all over this brand years ago, so i'm not impressed seeing it in VB (i think i have these floating around already).

Cosmetic Kitchen mask-$24.95-full size

Another LHI brand.  This was in the LHI dec box. Blah.

Real Chemistry 3 minute peel-$67-sample size

This is a gel you spread on your face after cleansing, and it balls up and takes all the dead skin off.  I can't say i noticed much of a difference after using it, maybe time will tell, but it's a teensy sample.

I must admit i'm a bit sick of seeing LHI repeats, but i love both makeup items, so i'll let it slide.
